Smoking the Gun

This is the first in another new illustration series called Across the U.P.
Each illustration in the series will be inspired by a moment, sight, memory or conversation during trips across Michigan’s upper peninsula. It’s really different country up there, a whole different culture with its own sights, sounds and smells.
This one is called “Smoking the Gun.” Memories of cap guns and feeling tough.
