I love this song.
This video is so cool too. I can’t really put my finger on why it is so great, but it definitely has a 90s vibe to it (which, obviously I’m attracted to).
Maybe that feeling combined with Best Coast’s 60s jangly rock and the “real people” playing the characters in the story… the girl’s braces is probably the best part because you know 15-yr-olds with braces never smile unless something really wonderful is happening.
I don’t know, but it’s pretty awesome.

Its simplicity is its greatness.
60′s inspired jangly California rock about boyfriends and love notes and teenage jealousy and self-doubt and unrequited love.
Perfect for summer (which means I have to listen to this constantly right now because our leaves start changing next week)
I love it.
