Live Now: New Book by Eric Smith & Friends

A couple years ago I discovered illustrator Eric Smith and his Live Now project. At that point it was a handful of illustrations, contributed by a variety of great artists—each with a particularly positive message.
After meeting Eric I came to find out that he is—like me—a cancer survivor and the project was inspired by his own experiences enduring treatments and learning the invaluable lesson that each moment of life is precious.

Eric Smith is one of those guys that is almost obnoxiously cheerful.
It seems like every time I’ve talked with him I’m whining about not having enough work or client troubles or cancer stuff and he’ll be like. “Man, what are you enjoying today? I’m so happy to be alive! Life is amazing”
Yeesh…
It’s a good thing though… I try to be pretty positive most of the time too.
In fact, over the last few months that I’ve gotten to know this guy it’s pretty interesting to discover the things we have in common.
