I’m excited to announce my exhibit opening at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City next weekend!
All the work is already up, so you can stop by anytime to check it out, but I’d really love it if everyone could come to the opening next Saturday night!
If you are anywhere near Traverse City or even in Grand Rapids or lower Michigan wondering what to do for fun next weekend you should definitely make the trip up to beautiful Traverse City! Nothing’s better after a long day at the beach or hike along the dunes than a hand-crafted brew from Right Brain Brewery!
My reception will be from 7-9pm so please stop by and say hello and hopefully you or a friend can go home with some radical new artwork for your walls.

If you’ve never been to Right Brain then you’ve been missing out! Each beer is hand-crafted with the same kind of TLC that we visual artists know is required to create something that we can be proud of. The atmosphere is really fun and relaxed—way cooler than a bar with no big-screen TVs in sight!
Come support local art and just have an awesome Saturday evening at Right Brain!
Let me know if you can make it by Likeing the event on Facebook.

Strong Odors Artwork Now for Sale
Posted by Troy | Filed under Art/Design
When I first started Strong Odors, I wanted it to be a place where the images were just as important to telling the story as the words.
I’ve shared quite a few stories over the past couple years and some pretty cool images have been conceived (and delivered) in the process.
I’ve got a lot more stored up in the most creative (read:weird) recesses of my right hemisphere… and I’m looking forward to getting them out over the course of this year.
I’m really excited to announce that I’ve opened my online shop today where you can find (among other things) several pieces that have been created as part of this Strong Odors Process.
The prints are limited edition giclee, which means they’ll last forever (if treated properly) and look absolutely amazing (if I do say so myself).
Visit the store now and pick up something for yourself or a friend. You won’t regret it.

Buckets of Moonbeams
Posted by Troy | Filed under Good

My wonderful and super-cool wife just launched her first Etsy store:
Each of her creations places style, creativity and function on a very high level. She won’t make anything that you can’t use every day.
Any dude trying to think of a gift for your lady… this is the place.
(I think her stuff is way under-priced considering the quality and time and cursing invested into each item)
Just a handful of items up now… so act fast, they’re gonna fly.
Buckets of Rain
Buckets of rain
Buckets of tears
Got all them buckets comin’ out of my ears.
Buckets of moonbeams in my hand,
I got all the love, honey baby,
You can stand.I been meek
And hard like an oak
I seen pretty people disappear like smoke.
Friends will arrive, friends will disappear,
If you want me, honey baby,
I’ll be here.Like your smile
And your fingertips
Like the way that you move your lips.
I like the cool way you look at me,
Everything about you is bringing me
Misery.Little red wagon
Little red bike
I ain’t no monkey but I know what I like.
I like the way you love me strong and slow,
I’m takin’ you with me, honey baby,
When I go.Life is sad
Life is a bust
All ya can do is do what you must.
You do what you must do and ya do it well,
I’ll do it for you, honey baby,
Can’t you tell?
