Belle & Sebastian: Write About Love

As much as I love The Smiths (and I do) there is still something just slightly inaccessible about the music.
It might be a generational thing – the fact that I was just a kid when they were making music (which I didn’t discover until my late teens), or that it hadn’t been injected with Nirvana yet (like all the other music that would affect me during those formative years)
It may be because the Atlantic was much more vast than it is now… and the cultures from one side to the other more distinct.

(500) Days of The Smiths

(500) Days of Summer is the best thing I’ve seen in a while.
The title sequence alone is a great reminder of why I love movies.
But I think what really made me love it was how familiar it was.
Eerily so.
